18CloseUp currently features around 50 updates, all of which contain videos and photo galleries, with photos displaying at a best of 1920x1080.
The videos are available in a variety of DivX AVI format. You can watch the videos in:

AVI: 1920x1080 @ 4700k
AVI: 1280x720 @ 3000k
AVI: 640x360 @ 900k
Updates are now made twice per week and there is no DRM protection on the movies.
The thing about most sites that advertise themselves as using this expensive high definition technology is the fact that they never actually use it to do things with the content that you might not be able to do otherwise.
So it’s good to see a site in 18CloseUp that understands that the use of high definition technology is not just all about making videos bigger – it shoots them in a way where you can see things in a whole different light.
In different hands, 18CloseUp could well have been another uninteresting teen masturbation site with little to distinguish it from the rest. That could still be the case if you don’t subscribe to the high definition subscription package!
But otherwise, you get to see the girls’ acts really close-up and you really do get to see things like you would not normally see them. Some absolutely stunning girls make things even better too. |

The presentation and navigation of 18CloseUp was okay, but could probably have been quite a lot better actually.
The thumbnails are good but probably a bit too big in the end, whilst there are a lot of index pages to wade through because of the lack of updates per page.
The download speeds particularly suffered on the high definition downloads – they really need to split these videos into smaller parts.
Update information was okay. Almost everything is in place here, but none of it is especially well executed so some tweaking is all that is needed. |

On the surface, this is just another teen masturbation site with not a great deal that makes it stand out from the rest but 18CloseUp uses its technology to the best of its ability.
As such you do at least get a different view of what you might normally see from such a site, but it will need to sort out its navigation and continue with its regular weekly updates too.
