Acme Porn is an apt name for this archive of animated porn – except it’s as far from a Warner Bros. cartoon as you can possibly get! This is a collection of both Western and Japanese anime content, in comic book, image and video forms.
AcmePorn features content that covers the dirtiest underground American comics, Japanese hentai comics that were so explicit that they sometimes weren’t even released, and a huge selection of hardcore animated DVDs as well.
The site currently features around 140 videos, and approximately 400 image galleries. The videos download in DivX format only, and these display usually at around 320x240, but this did vary quite a lot. Images also vary in size from gallery to gallery. Updates are normally twice weekly.
AcmePorn reminds me of some of the reasons why I was an enormous anime fan for a while back in my late teens. It’s just so completely lunatic at times that it’s just unlike any other style of animation on the planet, and they get away with things that you could NEVER get away with in live action.
Acme Porn does have its usual hackneyed share of monsters fucking nubile young girls with tentacles, and women turning into slathering demons halfway through a shag. But the site also successfully shows the other sides of animated porn from the Land Of The Rising Sun.
There is some quite marvellous hentai and animated porn to be had here that aren’t just good adult content, but just really good quality animation and films full stop.
The splendid A Heat For All Seasons and the bizarrely named Welcome To Pia Carrot are cracking erotica but also really, really entertaining films in their own right. When the content here is good, it is VERY good. Just don’t let the not-too-regular poor offerings put you off.
The image based stuff is really impressive too, with this database not just relying on traditional Japanese anime techniques, but also borrowing heavily, at times, from European and American stylings too.
It’s an eclectic bunch of artwork that ranges from straightforward hardcore porn to very slight adult humour, and even occasionally dipping its toe in fan fiction by ‘pornifying’ video games such as StreetFighter 2. I told you it was eclectic!
Bonus content comes in the form of a bunch of familiar live action porn sites (Backseat Suck ‘n Fuck, Boat Bangers etc.) as well as impressive selection of content from Asian pornstars.
This site is
about as well laid out as it could be for the most part, with a couple of niggles. The videos could do with some categorisation – or indeed any type of categorisation, like the image galleries receive.
Also, the videos can only be downloaded in one long block, even if they are reasonably fast. Otherwise, the updates are usually very regular indeed with some excellent information to go with the videos in particular, and the layout design is pretty good.

Acme Porn, I must say. It’s good enough to almost have rekindled my interest in anime by itself, with a fine selection of videos that occasionally aren’t just good porn but really good films by anyone’s criteria.
The selection is wide-ranging and is backed up by a quite superb selection of comic books and image galleries that don’t just limit themselves to Japanese styles. AcmePorn is really great stuff and a real must for almost any anime fan.
