AffairMatch currently has over 350,000 million members on board. The amount of members online at one time varies depending on your time zone. Most members offer photos of themselves.

It was refreshing to see a dating site which didn’t try and persuade you to sign a ‘free membership’ and leave you under no illusions about what you are getting. How many times have you signed up for one and found out you get nothing unless you pay? At least with Affair Match you are left under no illusions that you’ll get nothing more than a quick look if you sign up with the site for free - when you pay, you get more goodies.

The site gives you pretty much what you would have expected. As is the case on most dating sites, you get rather a large percentage of members who are no longer active on the site but there are lots that are online as well. The larger concentration does seem to be in America and Canada, there wasn’t a lot going on in some countries, so you’d better off checking that out before you join. For a pretty site though, the numbers on board are very impressive.

The navigation here was fine, I didn’t really see anything wrong with it. They seem to have gathered together some good ideas from other sites for the way it should work, and it does work rather well, I must say.

Searching for specific people is helped enormously by some very well set-out menus and indexes and, although some profiles are a bit cluttered, it generally worked well. I found the ads to be rather intrusive though.
