AmericanVice currently features 1687 DVD titles. The videos usually download in WMV format although there is an in-site browser too, and these display usually at around 720x480 (2100kbps). The site is updated several times per week.
If I remember rightly, American Vice was also the title of some dodgy ‘erotic thriller’ made back in the 90s. There’s nothing dodgy about AmericanVice though.
This is a site that has finally done what must be labelled completely obvious and finally married together the two main modes of payment that are usually used on DVD download sites.
You just wonder why somebody didn’t think of this before. Finally, you don’t have to complain about a DVD download site not using the payment you want to use!
This site has almost double the number of movies they had at the time of our last review. This is tremendous growth in just over a year. They have also now added their own style of porn star biographies.
The categories covered are extremely wide and it also casts its net far enough to be able to rope in almost all of the biggest stars in the history of the business in the process. This doesn’t have the feel of a site that is just over a year old, it feels like it’s been around for years. |

American Vice is as superbly presented as you could possibly ask for from such a site, it really is. There is an excellent Rebel Search function that has been much improved.
Some splendid categorisation goes hand in hand with some fantastic and in-depth comments about each scene that constantly keep the member in touch with exactly what might happen in that scene.
This means that it’s less likely that you will waste your money. Couple all this with some excellent browsing options as well as the fact that the download speeds were excellent, and some really good update information, the navigation here is almost faultless. |

American Vice is a really fantastic site that has crafted a fabulous selection of DVDs that have achieved a superb range of categories.
With the dual payment system they have in place too, they have basically killed two birds with one stone and managed to satisfy both sides of the argument. All the other DVD download sites really have to be watching their backs now.
