From the very minute you step into the members' area, BFCollection presents itself as a clean site with easy-to-understand navigation. The site is divided into hardcore galleries, movie galleries, softcore galleries, and a model index.
There are also some feeds and zines to keep your attention, and a section for top-rated models. The photo galleries at BFCollection are thumbnailed and paginated for easy navigation. Click on a thumb and you'll get a beautiful, hi-res, high-quality photo at 1024x682 (older sets are in the 760x500-ish range).
From here, you can manually click through next-previous images (that is, if your hands aren't busy with... other things). You can also jump ahead to any photo by a drop-down menu. My favorite is the slideshow feature, with a variety of speed settings for hands-free viewing. The one problem here is that the photos are so large, you end up getting either the head or the tail of the pic cut off in your browser.
You can choose to open the photo in a new window so the pic is resized, but you can't do a slideshow feature from here. All photosets are available for zipped downloads. The hardcore and softcore gay movies at BFCollection are, as expected, excellent.
Videos are cut into clips and presented as a large thumbnail so you know what you're getting into before you begin the download. Clips are generally in the 50-60MB range, though older ones seem to be in the 30-40MB range.
All are downloadable without DRM issues to deal with. At one point, I had 3 videos downloading at once, and all were clipping along at a swift pace-- very nice. The older videos are at 320x240, with relatively little quality lost when sized slightly bigger. The newer videos are at an absolutely beautiful 640x480. Extremely high quality, but with some pixelation at full screen. Videos are in WMV format.
The index of cute gay boys is thumbnailed with headshots of each guy. Clicking on a thumb will take you to an index of that boy's photos and movies (though not all have video). What's odd here is that the index isn't alphabetized-- it's just numbered pages, which got frustrating. In addition to your membership at Boyfun.com, you'll get a collection of 14 ezines and video feeds.
Some have free content, others are chat sites where you pay extra for all the good stuff. Topics range from gay Latino sites to naked frat boys. You're hard pressed (pun intended) to find an ugly boy on BFCollection.
From the tough-looking beefy guys to the smooth-chested twinks, BFCollection definitely offers the biggest range of guys as well as the best looking ones they can find. One of my favorite features of the site is the voting-- you can cast your vote for any model, then go check out the highest-rated gay guys on the site. You'll see there isn't a nasty-looking one in the bunch. |
