BlacknWhite currently contains a wide selection of videos, animations and photo galleries as well, all of which can be seen in a wide variety of different formats and sizes. Updates are being made but it’s very difficult to tell how regularly.
I’d love to know exactly what BlacknWhite was intended to be when it started out. I can understand that it is now an all-round interracial community, certainly, but not many communities place such a heavy reliance on animated content.
And this was really where I actually felt the site was at its strongest because you certainly do not get to see that much animated interracial content in the grand scheme of things, and the cartoons were great fun!
But in addition to all of that you do get a nice selection of hardcore interracial videos including (this didn’t mean anything to me, but it may to you) ‘the long lost, world famous Mr Deep movie’.
My understanding is that this is a community that has just expanded into its own website, but it has kept hold of its amateur trappings very faithfully indeed. The site is a strange one, certainly, but it’s not lacking in plenty of interesting stuff to look at.
User Interface
Really, the main issue with BlacknWhite is the disappointing and confusing navigation that the site employs, particularly on the front page.
They really have to organise the content into some semblance of a usable system because at the moment there is no organisation to the content at all.
Update information was sparse and imprecise at best, and whilst download speeds were usually very good indeed, they really do need to be completely redoing this.
Conclusion
Certainly one of the more leftfield and unusual sites that I’ve seen for a while, BlacknWhite has potential coming out of its ears in terms of developing as a really good community.
But it isn’t going to attract in any outsiders looking as bad as it does, and it needs a makeover because to attract many subscribers it needs to be immediately more pleasing on the eye.
