First 1080p DVD Released

The cover of Curse Eternal, looking remarkably like the front cover of Queen of the Damned. A coincidence, I'm sure.
So, somebody has finally released the first 1080p DVD title, eh? Is it cause for celebration or do you actually not care?
I'm pretty sure there will be cause for celebration amongst some people who have the technology to actually run such a massively proportioned DVD, but to someone like me that is more interested in the quality of the actual film, I couldn't really care less.
I've watched high definition videos in my time. I can't really say it added anything to my porn-viewing experience, nor could I actually see why it was so much better than 'normal' formats. I certainly cannot see the need for such a big fuss over it.
Of course, the fact that Wicked Pictures has landed a high profile Brad Armstrong picture as its first title will no doubt turn a fair few heads, but those of you who read this blog regularly will know I'm not overly impressed by his high-budget flicks.
He's like the Michael Bay of porn directors as far as I'm concerned - lots of bombast, special effects and an explosion of sound, but very little substance. It's what a porn film would look like if Jerry Bruckheimer produced it.
