When Numbers Don't Tell The Whole Story

Depending on which historical figure you choose to believe, either Benjamin Disraeli or Mark Twain may have coined the phrase, "There are three types of lies - lies, damn lies and statistics."

Personally, I think the latter is the biggest misleader of all.

I mean, who wouldn't be impressed by 140 sites available for the price of one? It's impressive in the eyes of anyone, surely? But quite often on porn sites statistics only tell a very small part of the story. There is a huge amount of content available on this network, but we're not telling millions of galleries here, but thousands. Only thousands! It's not exactly disappointing, is it?! The guys at Amazing Pass are actually far more truthful than most networks you will find.

The thing is that many sites will advertise themselves of having thousands of images or videos when the main site has nothing of the sort. Usually they are counting video or photo gallery feeds in that number that comes in the bonus section.

It's something you learn to live with as a porn consumer and let's face it, it isn't lying at all. But then again, it's not exactly 100% truthful either.
