Aria Giovanni
The blurry flames effect always works well, doesn't it?
Before I stumbled into porn reviewing, my early internet days looking at nude ladies were spent around free sites, picking up samples of galleries featuring some of the sexiest women around. A recurring name in those days was Aria Giovanni.
Obviously, in those days I tended not to care too much about their origins, but these days with porn and adult research very much being part of my job, I do care and it was interesting to read some of the things I found out about Aria Giovanni in my research for that article.
I wasn't so interested in the revelations that she performed some hardcore at the outset of her career - you'll find that many adult glamour models got into the industry via that route. I was more interested in the people that she had worked with more than anything.
In particular, Aria Giovanni's work with Andrew Blake interested me most. Since I reviewed his official site I've been completely taken in by his work and his movies, and she has almost become his muse in some ways, which she should take as a massive compliment considering who he's worked with.
But she's one of the few adult stars that I've seen make regular appearances on satellite TV outside of the porn channels, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her make a transition to mainstream cinema full stop. I wouldn't expect to see Aria Giovanni the Oscar winner though!
As long as she continues to be involved in shoots as wonderful and dazzling as she has shot for the likes of Mod FX Models and Mystique Magazine then I'll be happy enough. But I'd certainly miss her if she went completely.
