Mattel Sues To Keep Barbie Off Porn Site

When will these people learn ? We've had the ridiculous battles that Mariah Carey has undertaken against Mary Carey regarding the use of names, but it seems that Mattel just haven't learned at all.

What these numbskulls fail to understand is that there are plenty of other porn stars out there with the name Barbie or variations thereof. Are they going to start throwing their weight around at them as well?

For a start, China Barbie isn't the biggest star with that name. That particular point almost certainly falls to Lanny Barbie, obviously dependent on however the bloody hell she's spelling her name this week.

I don't think that she or China Barbie have in any way tried to benefit from the name of Barbie at all. If that was the case then they would at least have tried to make themselves look a little bit like the doll in question.

Plus, I think they overrate their product way too much. When I saw the names of these two stars I didn't immediately think of the doll at all. In fact, it didn't cross my mind. So if it is an attempt to exploit the name, it's not a very good attempt.

So yeah, Mattel. You basically suck.
