The Best Of 2007
Reel Pass made an impression with us, but not much else did.
So, happy New Year then. I hope the hangover is receeding and that you're looking forward to a return to work-related drudgery over the next few days. Looking back over 2007 though, what did it leave us with that was memorable?
Well, if I were to say that it was something of a disappointing year for porn sites then that would be absolutely spot on. Looking down the Honest Porn Reviews list of our top-rated sites, not many from last year made the grade.
Indeed, the highest-rated new site we saw was Reel Pass and even that was a network that didn't differ a great deal from the splendid NS All Access. It doesn't exactly bode well for the rest of the list, does it?
There WERE some gems though, most notably Girls Out West, a massively impressive Australian site that relied on amateur content and is destined for a very bright future indeed. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
Secret Virgin was a site recommended to us by contributors to our forum and certainly proved that the customer certainly can be right. A beautifully shot teen site, I'm hoping for a re-review of this one pretty soon.
Third Movies is a great collection of DVDs and videos from the same people who brought you ZTOD that really does cover the label quite superbly, but didn't feel like a proper site, if you know what I mean.
In fact, most of the great sites last year fell into that category. Must try harder in 2008!
