The Best Of Amateur - Part 1

The niche that arguably scores the highest out of all on
Honest Porn Reviews is the
amateur genre. And that's funny when you think about it.
The word 'amateur' is quite often used in a derogatory term in many walks of life. But pornography has perhaps done more than anything to help the word regain some semblance of respect and dignity.
One of the definitions of 'amateur' is, "A person inexperienced or unskilled in a particular activity." I've seen more than enough great performances and great amateur sites to suggest that this particular description could not be attributed to many in this niche of porn!
As such, the term is rather a cloudy one on the porn circuit, especially on some sites that stupidly flaunt the names of big name stars on their roster (I saw one once promoting Silvia Saint!). But there are some rank brilliant sites out there that are anything but.
Take Matt's Models for starters. The self-professed 'king of anti-glam' has deliberately sought out beautiful girl-next-door models, many of whom have progressed into what I would presume would be called 'professional' ranks, since just before the start of this decade.
Nubiles.net was that thing that isn't that rare in porn - filled with amateur teen girls. Fabulously shot and not contained within one particular type of girl, this wonderful site was one of the best that I saw last year.
Meanwhile, Australian experimental sites such as I Feel Myself and Beautiful Agony do something different with the niche by presenting people that are not 'performers' - some of them aree just doing it for a hobby.
Speaking of Australians, perhaps the ultimate amateur site (if not THE ultimate site full stop) is Abby Winters, a site so brilliant that Abby's wiping of the floors with the opposition is rather akin to what her country's cricket team did with my country's cricket team recently!
