Does Porn Cause Brain Damage?

Anybody spotted wearing this t-shirt should be shot. Along with those that wear Che Guevara ones.

This page lists a bunch of scientifically dubious conclusions that were jumped to in 2006, with the latter in particular being an interesting one.

It's worth pointing out that people caughtn wearing t-shirts like those above have probably not had their brain worn down by viewing porn, but rather have had it worn down by probably not having seen enough and having to somehow bridge the gap by wearing a 'wacky' t-shirt. It's a bit like students who have a Betty Blue poster on their wall to make up for the lack of decent, intelligent movies they've seen.

It's such ridiculous theories that are idly peddled by supposed intellectuals in a desperate attempt to discredit pornography in general that are not going to damage porn one iota, but instead make those who believe them look like the ones who are on the recieving end of brain damage.

Now as someone who consumes pornography on an almost daily basis, I think I'm in a pretty good position to judge as to whether porn can cause you brain damage. As yet, I haven't felt any ill-effects from watching or looking at porn. I thought I might actually be developing some problems with the old grey matter when looking at Big Brother Exposed, but I think I was just getting sympathy brain damage from some of the lunatics that star on that programme.

It's worth noting though that in the year and a bit since I've taken up residence on Honest Porn Reviews that I have started watching a lot more wrestling. Hmm. Better call the doctor, I think.
