Mariah Carey really has got to be pretty stupid. I mean, just how long has Mary Carey been a big name on the porn circuit now? It's been a few years. And back in 2003, when she made her big move (ultimately unfulfilled) into politics, where was Mariah's rather stupid motion back then? This was when Mary was at the height of her popularity. Yet Mariah brings the suit now, when Mary had faded from the popular culture limelight.
Damn, I'm confusing myself with all these Marys and Mariahs. I hope you're keeping up!
This is one of the dumbest things that I've ever heard. If the caterwauling and generally quite immeasurably awful singer had kept her mouth shut (difficult, judging by her songs) then I doubt anyone would have batted an eyelid. But by bringing this whole matter into the public domain, suddenly the matter IS an issue. She really has got some dumbass advisors behind her, I'm telling you.
It's all completely ludicrous, and it has been suggested that it could result in a long line of potential court cases against porn stars with names that are trading close to the name of a big movie star. But if you bear in mind the fact that there is a porn star called Cindy Crawford, with absolutely no attempt at even spelling it differently to differentiate between her and the supermodel, and the fact that she has never faced litigation, shows you just how moronic this whole case is.
Presumably now Colt 45 might be in danger of being sued by gun manufacturers just in case people confuse her with a firearm.
