In general, I think the porn industry is consistently crap at looking after its older products and older performers. It's an industry that, I think, forgets far too easily what has gone before, whether it be good or bad.

The fact that there are so few solo sites that are still actually active with new content that just happen to star a more mature adult star of years gone by is, as far as I'm concerned, a pretty good indicator of that.

Chessie XXX though is a pleasant and very welcome rarity in that regard. Despite being in her late forties, she's still knocking out new (if slightly less explicit) content to this day and on a regular basis as well.

It just bemuses me though why older stars and content is so roundly ignored by the porn industry. What bemuses me even more is that way that this particular star is called a 'vintage' star.

What are they talking about? She's only been performing since 1989! She's hardly about to start pushing up the daisies now, is she? It's this type of attitude that makes the porn industry miss out on cashing in on one something the internet was made for.

Reviving old porn and old porn trends, making them widely available rather than just dedicating one or two sites to them, and actually allowing people to rediscover them. Stop rushing to the next trend. Embrace the past.
