Dare Ring - It's Not Quite Twister

"I don't want to play, I'm exhausted after blowing up these balloons!"

It's been slightly more playful on the porn front recently round here, with one or two sites offering up something a little bit different from the usual procession of hardcore porn you normally get.

First it was the ever-so-fun HunGirly and its role-playing, choose-your-own-adventure adventures in trying to get into the pants of Hungarian beauties. But before that it was the playfulness of DareRing.

Dare Ring is ostensibly a game where a bunch of men and women sit round and play a dice-rolling version of Truth Or Darer, albeit with a slightly more adult edge than you normally get from such a game.

When I first visited DareRing I was pretty convinced that, as a spectator sport, this was going to be very boring. But it was actually quite a lot of fun, mainly because that sexual edge to it made it all the more watchable.

The site is quite clever though, establishing a community edge that encourages members and subscribers to actively post in a thriving forum and message board and play the games themselves.

And it really is here that the site has built its success. If they'd just left the games online and not bothered building a community, I don't think the site would have worked at all.

In that regard, DareRing could teach HunGirly a fair thing or two.
