Dating Tips

Date Movie. Not suitable for dating tips nor even the slightest bit of humour or entertainment.
One of the oddest sites I've ever reviewed is
Date Women Today, an online self-help guide on how to make sure that date with the hottie from next door doesn't turn in to an utter catastrophe.
Written by Michael Garnier this is a site that will no doubt have plenty of people sneering. Such guides or tipes are hardly rare, not just online, but in all different kinds of media, and as such much of what is written here is unlikely to be new to most people.
I tried doing a bit of research on Garnier, but with little success, in an attempt to find out his background. Unless he's also a French impressionist painter in his spare time, I couldn't find anything about him, so really you are putting your faith in his hands and of him being an honest man.
This isn't a criticism of him by any stretch of the imagination because every such guide falls into this description, but I'm just not sure such tips work particularly well. The problem is that EVERYONE is different. A surefire hit with one lady might lead to another lady socking you in the face with her handbag.
I've never been active on the dating scene at all. I subscribe to the Jerry Seinfeld school of thinking regarding people on a date - that they shouldn't be allowed out in public and that so much embarrassment would be saved if everyone was just brutally honest with each other.
"Your breath stinks!"
"Yeah, well, you have a face like an ass anyway!"
"Goodbye!"
That wouldn't make for a particularly long guide though.
