Desperate Popstars

"Would you like me to do it a capella?"
I'm actually surprised that more sites don't choose to mock or take off TV series and films. After all, we all know of a load of porn movies that have used the titles of mainstream movies or TV series, don't we?
There is a massive mine of potential material out there. I could flick through TV stations now and have about 20 ideas for sites within an hour. The quality of Desperate Popstars shows what could well be done.
This entertaining reality-esque site decides to take a dig at those dreadful music talent shows that your country, wherever you're from, probably broadcasts several of per year. What emerges is great fun and a great porn parody too.
So why aren't there more sites like this? They don't even have to be good impressions of the original product. I mean, you could just have a porn site based around the sexual antics in a news room. It doesn't have to be REALLY original.
Again, the site does raise the question about 'reality' sites and just how real they are but I'm not concerned by it here. You only have to look at good sites like Mask TV and Maidens Of Mask TV and how difficult it is to find regular content for them with 'Joe Public'.
I think that sites like this really do have to be so much more prevalent because curiosity value could dictate that they have a fairly large immediate fanbase from the originals themselves. Plus, I like to see how bad the acting is!
