Employees Fired For Viewing Porn At Work

See, offices CAN be sexy!

Some weird statistic last year mentioned that US businesses were losing something like $1 billion per year from employees using the internet at work to look at porn. How DO they figure out these statistics? They're just guessing!

Still, there's no doubt that viewing porn at work is still a 'problem' - unless you're me, and looking at porn IS work. Many offices are filled with workers who try and escape the drudgery of data entry by popping up some good old porn.

I suppose that these particular employees can feel a little bit hard done by to have been punished when porn consumption at work is so widespread and apparently such a huge problem. It's difficult to be sympathetic though. I mean, it's work!

What do they expect is going to happen? That their boss is going to walk past their desk and say, "Ahh, looking at Cum Farters, I see. Keep up the good work, Johnson, and there's a raise in it for you!"

I just can't imagine that I would have the nerve to look at porn at work mainly for fear of what I might end up seeing that co-workers might use against me. You just don't know what you're going to end up stumbling into.

I mean, you REALLY don't want to end up being caught looking at a hardcore BDSM site, do you? You'll end up with your computer chained to your desk when you come in in the morning and other such pranks.
