A Rock And A Hard Place

Some limestone rocks. Oh, and a naked blonde.
Erotic Destinations is a site that looks to use stunning locations to enhance the beauty of models. So I think you can safely say that
Martin Krake won't ever be shooting any sessions at the Manchester Ship Canal.
I can well imagine that, in some ways, shooting a photography such as this is a thankless task for the likes of Krake. No doubt he is consistently on the recieving end of people, fat on a diet on hardcore pornography, commenting that there aren't enough tits and asses.
On the flip side, I would imagine that criticisms of his photography from the 'art' fraternity that traditionally frown on nude photography that he is simply pumping out souped up pornography. It's a no win situation in some ways for guys like Krake and many other such peers.
But I like these types of sites. Admittedly, there are probably far too many of them around these days, with very few of them doing anything particularly different. The girls are usually from Russia, the shoots are usually in the middle of a field, and the videos usually have acid jazz playing in them. But if, like me, you like Russian girls and have a volume knob, then you won't mind how many more appear.
The thing that makes Erotic Destinations work as well as any sites of its type, if not better, is that it does actually admit that its photographer is perhaps as interested in the backgrounds and locations as he is in the models. As such, you know what to expect. Too many sites harp on about the portrayal of female eroticism or some such thing and then spend too much time filming a bloody tree or something.
Erotica and art are, for the most part, not particularly compatible bedfellows. But Martin Krake proves that they can be as comfortable as John and Yoko if you try hard enough.
