Golden Girls Gone Wild

The scriptwriters struggled to come up with more one-liners.

Now, does this story sound to you like it's anything other than a joke? Well, think again! This isn't the wacky capers of some internet photoshopper who has got nothing better to do with his or her time. This is a proper art exhibition that was inspired by an oil painting of a naked Bea Arthur.

For a start, why was somebody painting a naked Bea Arthur in the first place? She doesn't exactly seem like the most likely American sitcom star to do a naked oil painting of. Personally, I would have Mila Kunis, Megan Mullally and those two hot girls and that hot short-haired MILF from The Suite Life Of Zach And Cody WAAAAAAY ahead of her on the list. Amongst others. MANY others.

This exhibition opens on August 11th and the curator, Lenora Claire, wanted other artists to come up with their best interpretations of what the stars of that show would look like naked.

Now I used to watch The Golden Girls when I was a kid. I don't actually know why - it wasn't especially funny to me to watch a few old biddies make sarcastic comments to each other. Plus it didn't seem particularly realistic either. In reality, old women complain about 'young people these days' and the buses not being on time. They almost never did that on The Golden Girls.

Nevertheless, I think the biggest potential interview in the media right now has to be whoever grabs the scoop from any of the cast members about what they think of this exhibition, especially with regards to whether any of the artists have got their bodily proportions just about correct.
