Gotta Love Lucky

Normally speaking, your common solo teen girl site isn't nearly interesting enough to warrant discussion, nor do they usually contain enough of interest to warran any such discussion. But this one raised some question marks.

The tagline of Gotta Love Lucky claims that this girl stepped straight into being an adult performer as soon as she turned 18. What, was it a snap judgement on her part? Ooh, I'm 18, time to do some porn!

Or are they suggesting that these girls are marking off the days on the calendar before they turn 18 and can then star in as much porn as they possibly want? I'm pretty sure that is VERY rarely the case and that it's more complicated than that.

Nevertheless, teen 18+ sites are a strange little niche because so many of the performers in this niche are out of business as soon as they turn 22 or 23 because by that time you can usually tell they're no longer 'barely legal'.

Can you think of many performers who started off as teen stars and then turned themselves into general adult performers thereafter? I certainly can't think of many off the top of my head - maybe Julia Bond at a push.

This does strike me as odd. Surely with those years of porn experience under their belts you'd expect there to be some companies who would be desperate to take them on?
