Hi-Def - Do You Care?

Riley Mason is hot. I don't need hi-def to show me that.

Despite watching the development of high definition technology in porn and its increased usage over that time, my apathy for it has never really threatened to die down at any point. Nor do I expect it to.

I always attributed my lack of enthusiasm for high definition to my lack of a system that fully supports this technology. I always thought that if I got the right technology that I would probably enjoy it a lot more.

But now I realise that I actually wouldn't. For some people, I'm sure that these issues are exciting and interesting and to them I say best of luck to you. To me however, the use of high definition technology is an irritation.

Especially so in the case of sites that ONLY use high definition videos without advertising as such in their title, as sites like the ridiculously overpriced HighDefMoviePass by Python do, without giving you any lower definition versions.

Right now my biggest bugbear in porn is this use of high definition content. I don't really have a problem with it in its place, but I do get the impression that as various sources on the internet regard hi-def as being akin to having great quality content that people like me are going to get more and more interested.

Oh, and sites that 'relaunch' just to add in hi-def content? Don't get me started.
