Porn Turns Off High Definition

Don't expect to see her much bigger than this any time soon.

So just a few weeks after I reported that porn was likely to be the major player in the rise of high definition videos. Then I read this.

I can sort of see their point in a way, when you watch the video. Although in some ways porn is perfect for the hi-def format because people will rarely get the chance to see their favourite blue movies at the cinema, I can see why things would go this way.

Personally speaking, I've always wondered this way about hi def porn. Although in theory you'll get to see the action closer up and see exactly what's going on, you do get to see every unpleasant blemish, don't you?

I'm sure we're all sick to the back teeth of videos in 320x240 format where you can barely see anything, but blowing videos up to 1440x1080 in size isn't necessarily a wonderful invention for some people.

I wouldn't imagine this news is a huge blow to the producers of high def movies already as there will always be a market for them. But if it stalls the use of sites that go exclusively for high def videos, that's good. I can never be bothered waiting for them to download.
