Hong Kong Porn Scandal

As I like to do often, the news story I spotted this morning rather reminds me of a scene from the South Park episode Cripple Fight - and no, it's not the marvellous redoing of the They Live fight scene.

After Big Gay Al effectively refuses to allow gays in scouts to be legal, Timmy gets Jimmy kicked out of them by Photoshopping him in a compromising gay position. Good stuff.

This story really does remind me of that - except perhaps less gay. The story of a number of Hong Kong actresses and actors being placed into positions and situations of a sexually explicit nature is certainly an intriguing one.

The fact that such a big fuss is being made of it over in Hong Kong despite the fact that it's being claimed that all these images and videos are faked does make you wonder EXACTLY what is going on.

After all, faked images of big name celebrities from the West (Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez in particular) are commonplace yet nobody cares one iota about them. You'd be an idiot if you didn't think they were faked.

It does make me wonder if we're getting the whole story here and if there is something more to these accusations and investigations. If there were REAL pictures of the likes of Maggie Q and Cecilia Cheung then I would be VERY interested.

But fakes? Fake off!
