Jenna Officially Retires
Goodbye, girls. It's been fun.
I don't want it to seem like I'm picking on Jenna Jameson or anything. I'm not. I don't think she should be as highly rated as she has been but there's no doubting that she's been a huge star and has done a lot for the industry.
But her steady descent into some very strange decisions and some ill-judged statements has culminated in the inevitable announcement of her retirement. It's been about the worst kept secret that you've ever seen.
We all knew this was going to happen, and many are worried about the apparent deterioration of her health. Her seeming attempt to distance herself from the industry that made her though is extremely strange.
The fact is that she is NEVER going to be able to distance herself from it. She's one of the biggest stars in the history of the industry - how on earth does she realistically believe that she's going to make people forget that?
If she wants to make a mainstream impact, fine. I don't think she'll succeed, personally, but it's her decision. But why not embrace what she had achieved and use it to her advantage, or even make people view the industry in a better way.
And as for the breast reduction she's undergone, that's all well and good. But to have them removed to stop her from 'molesting herself'? What does that even mean?
I think that are quite a few reasons to be very worried about Jenna Jameson right now.
