Please do porn, Monica. You know it makes sense.

This piece of news is one that won't surprise any of you who have seen their films. But will we ever see a mainstream movie star in hardcore porn?

The reverse has happened, of course. Hardcore porn stars have indeed crossed over into the mainstream - only recently have we seen Jenna Jameson make appearances in mainstream films, but could the opposite feasibly happen?

Those of you who have a subscription to Mr Skin and sites of that ilk will know of the mucky little films that guys like Kevin Costner and Adam Sandler made early in their career, but they're hardly sex-filled romps, are they?

Hardcore sex is increasingly a part of mainstream films, with the likes of 9 Songs, Romance and others including full sex that is completely uncensored (for the most part). But as yet they haven't featured any big name stars - indeed, Romance starred a certain Rocco Sifredi.

Of course, it wouldn't be unpleasant to see Monica Bellucci in a hardcore flick! But when you bear in mind all the stories of 'real sex' in mainstream movie scenes that have been speculated on, surely it's only a matter of time before an A-list star does the dirty for real on screen.
