Porn Become Unsexy

Two members of the Tell Me You Love Me cast - clearly still sexy.
It's rare to see an intelligent and well-balanced article written in a quality newspaper anywhere in the world about porn, but regularly the Los Angeles Times manages it as can be seen with this great article.
There are many great points made in this article that I really couldn't agree with more. They're particularly spot on with regard to the comment about the fact that although porn consumption is rapidly rising, enthusiasm for it actually seems to be waning.
It's this point I'm most interested in of all. As far as I'm concerned, as a whole, the industry has hit something of a wall. Obviously, you do still get some products and websites that manage to be really impressive but these are the exception rather than the rule.
From what I can see though, I would go back to the old phrase that's been doing the round for years - 'the internet is for porn'. It is, of course, absolutely filled with porn. If I didn't like porn, I'd find it completely infuriating.
And obviously, as internet use continues to grow and access to it is more and more easy for more and more people, porn consumption will grow. But at no point must the industry think that this means that their product has improved as a result.
There are so many products out there that just have so little imagination or flair to them that the market is completely saturated with crap. Which is, I guess, why we're here.
