Porn Company Buys Historic SF Armory For $14.5 Million

The armory in question. Gas station not included.
This news story has certainly captured my imagination today. Sounds perfect for a porn dungeon!
It's this type of inventiveness that I like in porn, and I think Kink should be applauded for their move. Not only will they prevent a fabulous looking old building from being redeveloped into more boring apartments, but they will actually be using it for a purpose that will suit it perfectly.
You see, bondage porn is not terribly easy to create or recreate convincingly. It's not a case of finding a dimly lit room, a few whips and that's your lot. Genuine fans of this niche know what looks authentic and what doesn't, and the fact that a company is prepared to pay $14.5 million to further their business should be viewed as one of the most exciting moves in this niche in the last few years. Maybe you Americans can now produce something as great as The English Mansion!
There will, obviously, be those that will show revulsion at a porn company moving into an historic building such as this. But if their aim to then branch into mainstream movie making comes to fruition, then this is not only a great move for the bondage community, but for the community in general.
