Kansas City Bishop Takes On Porn Goliath

Bishop Robert Finn is here to save YOUR soul. And don't you forget it!

Another day, another unwanted crusader trying to save our souls from the evils of porn. Leave us alone! We don't want to be saved!

I understand the fact that there are people out there that are deeply addicted to porn, and it is easily done. Porn can be, in some ways, just as easy to become addicted to as established causes of addiction like drugs and gambling.

But these people aren't especially interested in that branch of helping people. They're more interested in souls. They're more interested in the fact that if you are interested in adult entertainment, then it's incredibly unlikely that you will be a follower of a religion.

With the porn industry continuing to grow at an amazing rate, the Church has it sussed it out. They realise that a bigger porn industry means more people looking at porn more of the time, thus meaning less people interested in religion.

Completely self-serving moves like this don't help anyone at all. Bishop Finn can kiss my arse. When he actually starts wanting to help people rather than pretending to want to help people so that they attend more of his sermons and put more change in his collection box, maybe he'll deserve to be listened to.

In the meantime, worship someone who deserves it - like Abby Winters.
