Kink.com Fights Porn Piracy

Lexi Love, looking rather more energetic than she probably did at the end of her 4 hour shoot.
Having already hit the headlines on this here blog during this entry, those pioneering Kink.com fellows are at it again in the fight against porn piracy.
Piracy is, of course, a difficult problem for all areas of the media. The music and cinema industries have been fighting against the illegal consumption of their products since year dot and, perhaps because of its generally more inflated prices, the porn industry is in even bigger danger.
I know of a whole host of forums and groups on the internet that constantly lists passwords and logins for you to get access to porn without having to pay anything. This is a problem very hard to combat.
But these guys have obviously decided to take the fight to those darn pirates in a different way. Live shows shown in a high definition format is a great way to go in my opinion, and it finally does something useful with high definition technology.
It's simple to see why they're doing this. Live shows are far more difficult to pirate and by using such a high definition format, Kink.com are making sure that downloading pirated versions of this content is going to take a VERY long time.
Well, DRM hasn't done much in the fight against piracy except produce irritating experiences like Movie Monster so maybe it's time to try something new.
