'Real' versus 'Fake'

You've just got to love Abby Winters.
I've found in the last few months when researching my blog entries that the consistently most interesting site for tidbits about the porn and adult industry is Wired.com, so congrats to them on being so good so often.
Their most recent article about the industry focuses on why exactly sites like Kink.com and Abby Winters have managed to be such potent forces in online adult entertainment for so long, whilst others have fallen by the wayside.
They suppose that it is the realism of these sites that are the key to their prolonged success, and I would certainly have to agree. They also summise that the reason most porn sites fall by the wayside is because they are 'fake'.
I have to agree here too. Most porn sites, rightly in my opinion, are set up to provide instant gratification and instant thrills. I can understand that. But after a while these sites run their course because there's only so many times they can have the same girls doing the same things.
My belief about sites like Abby Winters and their longevity is simply down to the concentration span of the customers. If they're prepared to wait for their thrills, then there's a good chance that they will subscribe to the site for longer.
It also perhaps emphasises the reason why she doesn't pay her affiliates rebills - because she knows that people will stick with her site for longer than they will anywhere else. She's very clever, you know!
