Rimbledon

"You lost your match? Never mind. Licking our hairy assholes will cheer you up!"

I'm sure that when its network launched Rimbledon that it was very topical, what with said tennis tournament not that far in the distant past. The launch of Rimbledon also throws up the possibility of many very poor gags indeed....

....but I'm far too mature to come up with any myself, obviously. These kinds of topical sport-based sites like Rimbledon have been done before, but this is far more accomplished a site than any I've seen previously.

Football Babes, for instance, was launched with the 2006 World Cup in mind. But whilst interest in it may wane for the 50 weeks of the year when Rafael Nadal isn't pummelling all-comers on the grass of Wimbledon, it has a great set-up to it.

For a start, Rimbledon doesn't seem to be set to just stop making or releasing new content just because the tennis has finished. It's still throwing new stuff out there and progressing along very nicely indeed for a new site.

Of course, the entire thing is completely insane. This was clearly a case of someone sitting watching the tennis and thinking, "I wonder if we could do some 'tennis porn'. What would be a good name? Ha! Rimbledon!"

I'm pretty convinced this must have been a case of a pun or name leading to a site idea rather than the other way round as it usually would be. Maybe they should do the same for the US Open. How about an anal site called Tush-ing Meadows?
