Beware Of The Cat

A cougar. Don't expect to see an enclosure full of these at your local zoo.

Even after a couple of years of reviewing porn, enough time you would think for a person to have 'seen it all', some things in the industry still completely befuddle me.

The most recent such occurrence of my befuddlement was upon reviewing Seduced By A Cougar.

I was slightly concerned before I reviewed it that we'd been sent a site of rather unsavoury means. But my concern soon gave way to bemusement upon finding out that a 'cougar', in these circles, refers to a predatory woman who cruises clubs looking for guys to shag. Where do they get these euphemisms from?

It's not the first time a porn term has had me thinking something else completely. I remember right back at the start of my porn reviewing 'career' (it seems wrong to even term reviewing porn a 'career'!) that I was due to review an ATM site. I can't remember the name exactly but it had ATM in the title. I thought to myself, "Must be porn shot on those security cameras they have in the machines when you take your money out." D'oh.

'Creampies' initially had me thinking that it was a reference to food play or food fetish sites (why aren't there more of these types of sites, by the way?), whilst I dare not even try and remember what I was thinking when I heard the term 'camel toe'.

What it does show is that you learn something new every day and you can even learn things from porn!
