Stoya - The Hottest Girl In Porn?

Whether it be sport or movies or music or indeed porn, there is always someone out there who will be labelled 'The Next Big Thing'. Actually, in porn, there are always a few such girls who are labelled as such. But there's no doubting that the goth star Stoya is clearly deserving of the label.

If you don't know who Stoya is yet then don't worry. Until a couple of months ago, I hadn't heard of her either. What makes that strange though is the fact that I should perhaps have heard of her earlier, as should you. After all, in October 2007 she did something that no other alt girl performer had managed.

In that month she signed an exclusive contract with Digital Playground and became regarded as porn's first alt porn contracy girl. It might seem surprising then that her star has only just started to really rise at the end of 2008 and now into this year.

Even stranger is the fact that Stoya took home the AVN Award for Best New Starlet - in 2009. But the answer to these could be very simple. She may have shot her films and it may have taken a while for them to really catch on in popularity.

Either way, she's here now and her popularity is rising hugely. She has no official website as such yet, which is unusual for a contract girl from any company, but there are several sites on which she was prominent before she even signed with Digital Playground.

Probably the best place to head to if you need a Stoya fix is Gods Girls. This fantastic goth girl site has many things to recommend it for but the fact that you can see many of her earliest galleries and videos means it is a fantastic place for you to start.

It's not the only place either. The slightly less good but still impressive Razordolls is also a place where you can see her in her pre-contract days.

I think that Stoya could be a breath of fresh air for mainstream porn and a much needed one at that - and wouldn't it be ironic if that refreshing change came from a girl who made her name in independent and alternative porn?
