Top 100 Most Popular Pornstars

The troubled Miss Jameson predictably topped the list.
You can tell it's the New Year when you start seeing all manner of year-ending lists about the best, worst, most popular or least popular things that happened in the year before. And the porn industry is no different in that regard.
The popular free site Porn-Star.com has published its list of the most popular 100 pornstars as searched for on their site throughout 2007, and the list doesn't really throw up a great deal of surprises as it turns out.
Well, at least not in the upper echelons of its list so much. Jenna, Briana, Tera - pretty much as you would expect, and much of the rest of the list is populated with familiar faces as well none of which are especially surprising.
What is surprising though is how little impact more recently appearing stars have made in the top 20. Newer stars such as Eva Angelina, who regularly tops Freeones' list of searched for stars, and Puma Swede were unable to break into the list.
Yet the enduring appeal of stars like Jenna and Tera, neither of whom are really even adult stars any more, continue to dominate the charts and show what these newer stars need to do to break into the very most popular stars in porn.
Also, the lack of impact made by the wonderful Julia Bond, who scraped into the top 100 despite all manner of accolades in the last year or so, shows that the porn industry really is just like so many other industries in the media actually.
The critics and the general public very rarely see eye-to-eye.
