Wanted List

No, not that type of wanted list!

If ever you needed an example of just how quickly the porn industry moves these days, you need look no further than the latest DVD and video download site that I had the chance of reviewing recently.

Wanted List is the example in question. By all accounts, it was a site that for a while that sat at the very top of its genre, and in many regards it can be seen as something of a pioneer for its type of adult site.

But it also shows what happens if you stand still as a service. This was a site that won AVN Awards back in 2006, but one wonders if it would actually even come close to winning any awards in 2008.

It's not a bad site at all, far from it. The sad fact is though that they have been overtaken by many of its competitors, many of which are young upstarts, and it is now left as a site whose DVD rental service is their standout point.

However, it's not much good if you live in certain areas of the planet - they don't deliver them everywhere. And as a DVD download site it has been overtaken completely and as a service in that regard, must really be completely disregarded.

3500 movies? Not enough. No complete archive or index of all the stars featured? Not good enough. $24.95 per month? Its competitors now trade for just over a third of that.

You can't stand still. The porn industry is like a motorway - stand still, and you'll be overtaken more times than you can count.
