Yoob TV

Yoob TV has something that no other download site has.

I wouldn't care to even venture a guess at just how many DVD download sites I've written about in this blog. When I do, it's usually another debate about which type of payment is preferable to which.

But in the case of Yoob TV, the debate over payment systems becomes somewhat less important when you consider other factors. For the record, it's a monthly system here and a pretty reasonable one too, if slightly more expensive than other sites.

You are paying for something a bit more here - speed. You've got to weigh up some options here. All of the videos stream on this site, and you can't download any of them to your hard drive. A bit of a bummer again, compared to some sites.

However, you've got to ask yourself whether any of those sites can boast almost instantaneous download speeds? And that's not just the idle exaggeration of someone trying to put over a site in dramatic terms. They really do happen that fast.

It's a tough one to way up. Instant video displays versus downloading and keeping the videos. Tough one. I know which one I'd go for every time - the former. I spend far too much of my life waiting for porn videos to download.

In every other way, Yoob TV is just another DVD and movie download site and by virtue of the fact that it's more expensive than other download sites I probably wouldn't recommend it. But does that extra money make those download speeds worthwhile?

I'd say so.
