The landing page of the members' area of BoyBatter is divided into 2 sections: one is the famous BoyBatter pics and video, the other is the “vault” of non-exclusive pics and videos.
If you count both areas, there are probably thousands of models, photos, and videos to choose from in solo, hardcore, and group action content.
The BoyBatter photos are presented in thumbnailed image galleries. You can click back and forth to the next pages, but the galleries aren't paginated so you can't jump ahead. Click on a thumb and you get a larger image.
The thumbs are misleading, though, as thumbnail quality is outstanding, but the full images are of poor quality. Some photos are as small 327x240, while the larger ones are still only 654x480. Most all of them are blurry and very grainy with variable quality of lighting.
The problem here is obvious: these are “real” photosets, but rather still of the videos. If you're a photo fan, you're better off in “the vault” where there are real photos. The quality here is not perfect, but it is better.
The video area of BoyBatter is where you'll find better things to look at. Videos are availble in 3 options: play streaming online, download high res, or download lower res; meanwhile, the vault videos only offer streaming or one size of download.
Streaming video appeared to be at 320x240 with the option to enlarge to what looked like 640x480 (the vault videos offer the same option). There are buffering issues with the streaming video. For downloadable videos, they don't offer smaller clips for easier download. Even more unfortunately, downloads were unbelievably slow for both high and lower resolution videos.
The good news: even the lower-resolution video (a 60MB WMV at 12 minutes long) at 320x240 had a wonderfully sharp, clear picture that held decent clarity when the screen was enlarged. The larger video, at 720x480 and almost 100MB for one I downloaded, was just stunning, even at full screen.
The guys at BoyBatter are white, between 18 – 24 years old. You do have your military men, some surfer-looking boys, and a lot of twink-types, but they all generally have the all-American (with a twist) look. |
