BritishBlueMovies currently contains around 120 photo galleries and around 75 different videos. All photos can be viewed in three different sizes, with the largest being 1400x2100.
Videos are available in WMV and MPEG and have a best display of 720x480 (3500kbps) on the whole. The site is updated twice daily with pictures and twice weekly with videos.
Ooh, now, this has brightened up a dreary Monday afternoon. We’ve been quite busy with British sites in the last few months, it’s almost as if they’ve heard my cries of wanting to see more British sites.
But BritishBlueMovies is something a little bit different, setting itself up as a site that opts to present you with what it regards of the cream of British porn, both past and present, and in terms of both stars and content as well.
I like the fact that it didn’t just position itself as a ‘classic’ porn site, although the British porn industry could desperately do with one of those as well.
Classic stars such as Adele Stephens mix with more contemporary success stories like Jemstone in a nice mixture of action that concentrates as heavily on glamorous and proper photo shoots as it does on hardcore and lesbian porn videos. |

BritishBlueMovies is strongest in terms of its navigation when it comes to its categorisation, with good separate sections dedicated to videos, DVDs, photo galleries and models as well.
The download speeds were not too bad for the most part although they could perhaps have been helped by smaller files considering they are reasonably high definition in nature. |

I really did like the idea behind BritishBlueMovies, I must say. I liked the mixing of older stars and content in with newer models and action to try and create a site that is almost a ‘best of’.
The UK scene has needed a site like this for some time, so it is a relief to finally see one. More importantly though, it’s a relief to also see one that happens to be really quite good, but with room for improvement. |
