Content
There are too many galleries here to count, but the site claims to have over 500,000 images, and I think they are probably spot on. Images varied in size. I think updates are made on a daily basis.
Celebrity Sleuth is the latest of a raft of celebrity sites that I’ve seen recently, and this one is slightly different in that it doesn’t bother with any videos at all. It doesn’t necessarily have a theme beyond just being a really large collection of celebrity photos, but what I will say is that they really do go very in-depth on a lot of the celebrities here. For instance, they have over 1300 images of Christina Aguilera - and that really is quite in-depth coverage of any celebrity.
A recent bugbear of mine has been the amount of celebrity sites that now use fake pictures quite routinely, but I didn’t see any on this particular site so that’s certainly nothing to worry about here. The fact that some images are magazine scans (coming with the actual article too, at times) might irritate a few people, but the range of reach that they manage to achieve here is quite exceptional. It’s a good site, but I’m not sure if it offers enough that other sites don’t offer.
User Interface
The presentation of the site was largely okay, although they would benefit from maybe including rather more update information. Probably the main problem that the site has is that they really do not include any information about the celebrities nor about the actual pictures themselves.
But the A to Z index is very good indeed and does help rather a lot, and in general the site is not too cluttered and fairly friendly to get around. In other words, it’s not great but it works.
Conclusion
Celebrity Sleuth is, on its own merit, a fairly decent celebrity site. It really does have a very large collection of images, and as such it also manages to reach rather a lot of very hot women.
The main problem is that it opts for no videos at all, and when compared to its rivals, this could be a major stumbling block in persuading you to subscribe. Still, it’s good value and has lots to see.
