Color Climax is the official website of a Danish porn magazine that has been running for around 40 years, bringing you an archive of some of their best material and brand new and exclusive action.
The magazine of the same name has been publishing hardcore pornography over that entire period, and has featured some of the world’s greatest porn stars and adult performers.
There are currently 720 videos and approximately 101000 photos, with photos displaying at a variety of sizes. The videos are available in Quicktime format, and largely display at 720x576(1600kbps). The site is generally updated every day.
Color Climax is a title that is renowned throughout Europe and Scandinavia, but has never grabbed worldwide attention to the extent that it maybe should have done. Looking through the content, it’s difficult to see why the name isn’t more widely renowned.
With a splendid range of dedicated hardcore action that sticks to a set niche if not moving away from it much, and a variety of stars that range from the biggest stars of the 70s (John Holmes) to the biggest stars of today (Silvia Saint), this is worthy of full recognition.
The membership system means that once you have paid for three months’ access (either all at once or after 3 recurring monthly fees) you get full access to everything, and I really think that it is well worth investing in that three month membership straight away as its is there that you get a full appreciation for what this site has to offer.
Needless to say, I skipped to one of our big favourites, Monica Sweetheart, and her Cascading Interlude set really does need to be seen! Bonus content sees you given pretty wide access to a Hustler video archive.
The presentation could and should have been rather better. I’m not an enormous fan of Quicktime videos and if you’re like me, the lack of other browsing options will be irritating.
The categories of content are rather vague as well and there appears to be no clear division of pictorial and video content. Download speeds struggled, but the general layout was pretty good and easily the best aspect of this site’s navigation, which needs significant improvements.
Color Climax is certainly deserving of attention alongside some of the biggest names in mainstream porn, employing as many star names as any other studio in existence out there.
I wasn’t convinced that you got much of a taste of what Color Climax could truly offer on the whole, but if this is a big taster of what they can offer then this is a site that you really need to subscribe to.
