| CrossDress Comics is a rare example of an animated porn site where you can expect all the content to be exclusive drawn for the site, with the theme being cross-dressing characters.
This rare outing for the cross-dressing genre in a specialised and dedicated animation site is not to be missed if you’re looking for original adult art or a different approach to CD if you’re a fan.
Content
This site currently has around 15 galleries (or comics) currently available, as well as around 240 videos. The individual images or pages mostly displayed at around 724x1024, but this can vary from time to time.
The videos can be streamed in Flash Player format, mostly displaying at 640x480 (bitrates unknown). Updates are made several times per week on the videos – not so often on the comics though.
The first comment that is probably worth making about CrossDress Comics is that the videos on show here aren’t animated and probably aren’t exclusive either, but by being about cross-dressing they do keep on subject, I suppose.
I don’t imagine that this will be of interest to fans of animation though so this is a site that is going to have to be very strong with its actual comics to appeal to both sets of fans, or any that cross-over into favouring both genres.
The animation in the comics is quite minimalist but I felt that this style lent itself well to the type of content. I felt some of the stories could have been longer though and they do tend to end before they’ve really started, unfortunately.
It’s a shame as they’re great fun and clearly show a great understanding of their genres. The irregular updates on the comics (about two per month) aren’t exactly going to help the site expand too quickly, but that’s always a problem with such content.
User Interface
The navigation here was largely pretty simple on the whole, with some outstanding descriptions of the comics that are almost as good as the comics themselves. Whilst the download speeds were good, there were a lack of browsing options on the videos.
I also thought it might have been prudent of the site to mention the fact that the videos are not animated, and on the whole I thought it was a site that could perhaps have done with a few more options.
Conclusion
CrossDress Comics is a site that, in some ways, should be prized because you very rarely get to see a site based on animated content that has been exclusively created for that very site.
But the situation regarding the videos was very disappointing indeed and it’s a shame that these couldn’t have been animated as well. Nonetheless, it was an interesting look at an overlooked genre.
