DVD Box

DVDBox, currently contains just over 5000 different full-length DVDs and videos. Each DVD does also have a gallery of screenshots, with each screenshot usually displaying at around 800x1200. The videos are available in a multitude of different formats with both WMV and MP4 versions, and can be streamed or downloaded. They are available at a highest resolution of 1280x720(8000kbps).  Updates are usually made on a twice-daily basis.

It’s been almost 2 years since I last looked at DVD Box and in that time practically dozens of other DVD sites have been released, and the whole market has moved on very quickly as well. But it certainly seems as though DVD Box has moved with the times, having expanded to over three times its previous size thanks to twice-daily additions of brand new DVDs, as well as a fair amount of improvement to its navigation, which you can read about below.  The quality of the videos have also improved dramatically with superb HD versions now available

What I particularly enjoyed about DVD Box, was the fact that the quality of the DVDs they are choosing, do actually seem to have some semblance of a vetting procedure to them – they don’t just pick any old titles and stick them on the site.

This really could be the site’s advantage over its counterparts as the quality of the titles is fantastic. Also notable is the fact that there is a particularly large collection of fetish DVDs as well, although several categories are rather short on titles – only one voyeur title?

This site is really well presented. As is necessary on sites like this, you can browse by title or by performer. Each video has a list of performers and links to their list of featured titles, and it is incredibly easy to surf, with good technical information. There are also separate sections for the actors and studios.

The download speeds are very good on the lower quality videos and they have also improved on the higher quality ones as well. The new feature which allows you to convert videos to the specific format you want is a fantastic new element to the browsing options too.

The improvement in DVD Box has been as enjoyable for me as it has been vital for them because this genre of sites is expanding so enormously that it really needs to keep developing.

Whilst DVDBox continues to very much concentrate its efforts on providing lots of great titles, at the same time they have substantially improved their navigation as well as well as the video quality. A very good effort indeed and now at an incredibly low price.
