Golden Hardcore takes a step back in time, dusts off all those old VHS tapes, cleans them up a bit with a feather duster, and presents them to you in a much friendlier format!
Digitally remastered versions of the best videos of years gone by and starring classic pornstars such as the likes of Christy Canyon, Peter North and Ron Jeremy await retro fans everywhere!
There are currently 60 videos and about 55 photo galleries too, with most of the photos here displaying at a size of 1000x750. The videos are available in high definition WMV format at a size of 1440x1080 (3500kbps). Updates are weekly.
I think that one of the most entertaining aspects of Golden Hardcore was the fact that it had such interesting descriptions of its content.
For instance, having the bravery to say that Houston looked far better before she ‘had all that work done’ (completely true, by the way) and saying that the male star in a threesome scene went on after that video to do ‘nothing of any importance’ gives the site an entertaining and personable nature that I really enjoyed.
The action itself is a pretty predictable procession of hardcore and lesbian action from years gone by, with lots of recognisable star names and faces from an era gone by.
You’ll know pretty much what to expect if you’ve seen these types of retro sites before. They do actually try to range the content in terms of its age, and they do actually openly admit that some of their stars are unknowns – some more of these would really improve the site.

The site is presented in as efficient a way as I could have asked for at this early stage.
The content gets separate photo and video sections, whilst update information was very good indeed and keeps you updated with what to expect in the near future.
The download speeds could be very slow indeed on the high definition videos, as you might expect, but they were actually rather reasonable across the board, I thought.
There isn’t really that much to differentiate Golden Hardcore from the plethora of other retro and old content sites out there and it isn’t really that big a site either.
But it is enjoyable to see a site not take itself too seriously but actually openly enjoy its porn industry history and enter into the spirit of things as a result is a nice departure.
