Hardtied currently has over 30 updates to choose from, all of which contain videos and photo galleries. Photos are available to view at 914x600 pixels for the most part, and all galleries can be downloaded in a ZIP file.
The videos are mostly available in RealMedia format only, but many videos can now be downloaded to an iPod where they display at 320x240. The downloadable versions display at a high resolution 640x480 (400kbps – 500kbps).
Maybe I’m becoming an old softy as I get older, but Hardtied seemed to me to a bit more hardcore than I expected it to be. Amongst the content you can expect to find here is caning, electric shocks, binding, gagging, nipple clamps, labia clamps, nose hooks, smothering and crotch ropes.
That hurts me just writing it! But I think this site is all about the attitude of the models involved. There’s nothing worse than a performer who is clearly uncomfortable and not enjoying this type of content.
We know it will hurt, but it is a fine line. That line is never crossed that I saw on Hardtied and the enjoyment of the performers quite often shines through.
What I liked about Hardtied was that direct sexual contact wasn’t ignored. Too often BDSM content ignores the sex part, but these performers are rewarded for their pain with massive orgasms that on occasion look as though they are going to knock them out!
The variety of content that is achieved here is also quite superb, as you can see from the list above, and with weekly updates, the potential for growth here is enormous. |

Hardtied has a couple of navigational issues to address, but minor ones at that. Firstly, having all the content, thumbnails included, on one page is something that needs altering.
The page takes far too long to load and makes it far too cluttered as a result. Hardtied is updated once a week on Wednesdays.
Otherwise, the browsing options are superb, general information about the site is very insightful and interesting, and it’s just generally well presented. |

Hardtied is a thoughtful and intelligently realised addition to the BDSM niche that a lot of other sites in the niche could learn from.
Although in its comparative infancy, Hardtied clearly knows where it is going and this helps the quality of the content immensely.
It is an undeniably erotic experience, with some very attractive models enjoying some really wild orgasms in amongst the pain, and I really was extremely impressed from start to finish. Hardtied is one of the most promising sites in this BDSM niche. |
