HentaiKey contains a quite amazing collection of content. There are over 800 sites in this collection, representing a database of content that is absolutely enormous, covering image galleries, movies and comic strips.
Updates, as expected, are very regular. The update information on the main front page of HentaiKey is misleading with regard to this, so you would be better off ignoring this!
HentaiKey grabbed hold of content that I’ve seen in collectives that are notoriously protective of their content and usually won’t licence it to third party sites. They really should be commended for leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of content and sites to add to the network.
As you would expect, the HentaiKey content and sites can vary enormously in quality. But the great thing about having so much content is that you can quite happily sweep the crummier stuff under the carpet and look for something better – and you won’t have to look far.
The content is categorised rather ambiguously so you are perhaps better off just taking a punt and picking a site at random rather than trying to surf by a category that will serve your tastes best.
If you follow the top-rated sites, then you generally won’t go too wrong. As a result, it’s easy to see why Hentai Movie Planet, Hentai Castle and Hentai Megaworld are so highly rated because they are all quite superb.
No fetish is left unturned and hentai fans across all niches should be satisfied. It was also pleasing to see that there wasn’t a battery of horror hentai around every corner. There is some of that type of stuff here, inevitably, but unlike on many such sites it isn’t the only thing to look at here.
It was also good to see some representation for artworks outside of the Japanese style here as well. The ‘Artists’ and ‘Cartoons’ section feature a good collection of non-hentai content that really sees this expand its remit beyond just being THE ultimate collection of animated Japanese-style pornography into being just the biggest collection of adult animation full stop.

As a sidenote, outside of the pornography, fans of anime and Manga of any styles really should be looking at this. I found the entire movie of Howl’s Moving Castle, an Oscar nominated movie, available to view here!
Plus there’s a bunch of Pokemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Ranma ½ and various other pretty famous animes available here. In fact, after this review, I’m going to see if I can find My Neighbour Totoro, I haven’t seen it for years!
It is about as far from porn as you can get, but as bonus content this type of thing is absolutely stunning – especially when you then throw in some cracking games as well! |
