Little Mango

This site currently contains just 2 videos, but these are full length DVDs that can be downloaded from the site or purchased on DVD. The videos are available in WMV and Flash formats, normally displaying at a highest resolution of 720x480 (2400kbps). The site updates rarely but a new title is due out later this month (June 2010).

Little Mango is not a site that can be judged the same as the vast majority of paysites out there. You don’t pay a monthly fee so you can’t really complain that there isn’t that much content here. What this is is a venture to try and produce completely new and independent porn movies that don’t look amateurish, but have a cinematic quality to them that you normally only see from mainstream Hollywood porn studios. And what a great job they have done to date.

The movies themselves are really good - well shot, and well performed with idols such as Anna Sayuri and Honoka Sakura putting in great performances. It’s interesting though that they are making a point of pairing these girls with non-Japanese performers. I only recently bemoaned the fact that you get to see interracial action involving Japanese performers so rarely, so what a fantastic opportunity this site opens up. I’m really excited by it, personally.

The navigation here is pretty simple and there isn’t all that much to tell, surprisingly. The videos could maybe do with more viewing and download options, but that’s about all. For me, the facet of the site that really needs attending to, is the latest news section.

Because there are months between releases sometimes, they really need to keep people updated with how they are getting on in more detail than they are now, otherwise people will forget this site and move on.

I do think that Little Mango is a great idea but obviously if you are expecting a ‘normal’ porn site then you are not going to get it here. However, those of you that follow Japanese porn and AV Idols closely should be really interested in this.

The videos they have released to date are very good indeed and show immense promise. But they could do a lot more with the site - some behind-the-scenes action and interviews would help create a fan base for this label. I love the idea though.
