Nitro Video

This site currently features almost 4000 videos and 417 photo galleries. The sizes on the photos did vary somewhat but were always of a decent quality, and all contain ZIP file downloads.

The videos are usually available to view in Flash, iPod and DivX formats to stream and download, displaying at a highest resolution of 640x480 (1000kbps). However, sizes of videos really depended on the clip. The site is updated every day, usually several times per day.

It's actually quite rare to find a celebrity clips site like this that is really disappointing. But every site like Nitro Video is aware that there are one or two absolutely massive sites in this genre that they will be unlikely to ever emulate. Despite that, there is certainly room for more sites like that, especially if they are as impressive as this one is - and it is VERY impressive.

But while some may ask exactly what it is that makes this particular site so good over many of the rest are the little touches and inclusions that others may well have missed. For a start I liked the fact that so many clips were included from TV shows instead of relying so much on films.

I also liked the descriptions and reviews of the shows/films that the clips are from (the description of Scarlett Johansson being just not that into nudity after her teasing performance in He's Just Not That Into You was especially excellent.

As a fan of European cinema and the actresses inhabiting it, I made straight for the clips of Monica Bellucci and Emmanuelle Beart and wasn't disappointed at all. More Ludivine Sagnier please, guys!

The navigation here, using a familiar template, is very good indeed. I was disappointed that there were no WMV or MPEG downloads on the videos though, but otherwise there were few complaints as regards the video options. Streaming was relatively buffer-free and download speeds were good.

Update information was also excellent, although I think a full index of all the stars that appear on the site would have been immensely helpful, although linked names allow you to get to full lists of other sets or videos the actress appears in.

From softcore DTV erotic thrillers to Oscar-winning films, from ultra-violent American horror films to arthouse French dramas, Nitro Video doesn't discriminate. It just wants clips of sexy actresses looking sexy and, if possibly, showing rather a lot of flesh. It does it superbly.

The collection of photo galleries are impressive clear considering they are screenshot galleries as well, and they back up the videos marvellously. Really enjoyable and with absolutely loads to go through as well - saves you fast-forwarduing those DVDs and tapes to the juicy bits!
