OneGirlADay has taken one of the boldest steps I’ve ever seen any site take. Completely purging its archives of all of its old content, because it was all licensed from another source, which was no longer providing them with updates.
They decided to start producing their own content instead and go back to producing the daily updates they always promised. It’s meant they have lost thousands of sets of content in the process, but the decision is a brave and bold one that I really hope pays off for them.
All the indications suggest that it may well do. Ploughing the same route of European models and stripping / masturbation sets using a selection of lovely models from the Continent, just a month after its relaunch it already has quite a great selection of models on board.
Being able to persuade the likes of Sophie Moone does help a lot, but most of these models are relative newcomers. This should allow the site to completely develop its own personality though.
In terms of bonus content, OneGirlADay provides you with access to Virtua Girl as well as around 150 external feeds that provide fabulous value for money.
The navigation on
OneGirlADay is fine, although one or two improvements would be useful. I’d have liked to have seen separate categories for the video and photo content, and also slightly more information on the model browsing pages.
Otherwise, all the browsing features and menus are excellent, the updates are already frighteningly regular considering how new the site is, and the information about those updates is generally great.
The layout is pretty good too, and the model biographies are a nice touch if a little on the brief side.
